2015: Review of the anime with up-coming new seasons in October

Minna-sama, hello!

Hisashiburi, Hikari desu. ^.^

For all you lovely people out here who have been left in a complete agony for half of the summer because all of the new seasons won't air until October, I FEEL YOU.

Oh, yes, yes there is such thing as summer season, but if you did check the charts...summer season anime is not the hottest one this year: klick it, klick it here and make sure I'm right. yes, ok you'll find a few average anime to watch if you're not too picky anime-viewer, but meh. Give people some hot stuff, I'm talking about K project, Shingeki no kyojin, Owari no seraph, Noragami, Haikyuu!!...!

So, to make you everyone a bit less sad about it, here's the list I made for you followed by my strict quality review of the anime that will air in October as well as some anime that was quite hot recently.

Tokyo ghoul

Now, before everyone goes crazy about what I'm about to say about this anime I'll just mention manga story defers a bit form anime, so if you like this type of story - go read that shit, the manga style is great.

Second season of Tokyo ghoul aired in January 2015, so the 3rd season is just about to be confirmed. So, you minna crazy about ghouls I can tell you all it is likely that season 3 will be aired in the summer 2015 (it is not still known when exactly, but it's popular as hell which is why it's been announced it's coming quite soon!)

My personal review on Tokyo ghoul (which I've seen quite recently): this anime's quality is not justifying it's popularity. Story is great, heartbreaking, charters are well portrayed and many, but there are 2 main points that makes this anime quite lousy:

1st one: unnatural point scenes - in Tokyo ghoul you have many brutal scenes (because it's story about ghouls who feed on humans, duhh) story makes progress through action scenes (it's where something new happens that will affect whole anime story, which is why it's called point scene). Those scenes are suppose to make a development in a story, but in Tokyo ghoul  such scenes are giving you the feeling they are artificial. It's like such moments are not the natural flow of the story. What I'm trying to say here is that anime creators used point scenes to make drama and to show some blood and pain decreasing the quality of the story itself (they probably did that because of the budget and the fact that you have to put quite a lot of a story in just dozen 20-min episodes *shrugs*)

2nd one: the character of Kaneki Ken - The character of Kaneki Ken is just being butchered (I said character, although yes you can say Kaneki was butchered literally too - but that is suppose to be like that I guess). He is suppose to have strong will, although he's a wuss (that's the point of the famous line if you were to write a story with me in the lead role it would certainly be... a tragedy) , but then he's being tortured and turns into something completely different...then he becomes Kaneki again...then he can't return to be Kaneki, so he becomes Sasaki Haise -.- I mean, the character of Touka, for example, is consistent, because you get to know her and you know how she would react, what's important to her etc. but with Kaneki, who is also a LEAD character, he's a bit like this, a bit like that on a too extreme scale. and that's probably not just in anime. Kaneki is too messy of a personality, as if the author was indecisive what kind of character he wants Kaneki to be, making him colourless and nonconsistent (and that has NOTHING to do with the horrors that's happening to him! ofc such things will change a person but it can't make someone a NEW person (something to such extend just kills), it can heavily traumatise someone and deform a personality, but that's as far as it goes (even in anime). In my opinion, that is the lack of a point in story. That happens when people write a story for the flow of the story and not for the point to make. ...........huh, this was long comment. ^^

ok, let's go to the less grim stories :)

    K project

This splendid anime I also watched recently absolutely blew my mind away. I must say, yes you watch this anime constantly wondering and not knowing stuff, but that's also the quality of not just the story itself, but also its deep meaning (and you guys know I watch only deep shit with artistic value). The story is, in a way, told from a perspective of Isana Yashiro, the main character (he's not the narrator tho, don't think that), who is genuinely good (but he nor a viewer is sure in that until the end of a story). There are also many other characters who quite resemble the real world - they are all good, but in a conflict.

It's amazing how this anime gives a deep point about peace and power told through the metaphore of fantastic elements of futuristic technology and magical power, but so applicable on the real world.

If you haven't seen this very intelligent anime WATCH IT and if you did - watch it again, because the 2nd season comes in October and Anna is the new red king. (woops, spoiler alert :P)

    Owari no seraph

One of the rare anime I've been waiting for each week to see a new episode, but in a way has a same quality problem as Tokyo ghoul (however not that bad as Tokyo ghoul). Story is a bit lousy in a quality of telling it, but it's not as much fastened as Tokyo ghoul which makes it enough interesting to make you wanna know gosh what happens next?

It is  a touching family story and a main character is a bit of an idiot, which also makes you wanna sit, watch it and comment That damn Yuu! Why can't he just do what Mika says!? a beautiful piece of heaven wants to run away with you WHAT'S THERE TO THINK
    but, yea :)

If you haven't seen it yet, it's quite interesting and you have a whole summer until they release 2nd season in October. ike!

    Noragami

Noragami is by all means quality anime: it has a leading point, interesting discoveries, supernatural elements, beautiful art, touching sadness in a story and a genuine japanese humor to blow you completely away! And unlike many others, this anime goes by a good pace not ruining the story, fast enough to keep you interested and excited all the time.
I also read the manga (it's GREAT, read it, read it, read it!)

This is one of my fav top 3 anime, so you know watching this you'll regret nothing. Its second season will be released in October and I simply can't wait! :D

    Shingeki no kyojin

I'm not even sure how much time passed since we got anything from attack on titan (I think it's been two years or so?), but now I can finally say THE MOVIE IS OUT.

Actually, it's coming on the 1st August and since we've been waiting for eternity, a month of waiting is as good as now :D

The cast is great, it's all famous Japanese actors. Eren is played by Miura Haruma and Ishihara Satomi will be playing Hanji Zoe (she is like born to play that character!!)

Now, I cannot tell you if the quality of this movie is at the level, but the trailer is absolutely terrifying and I also must say I love how they made uniforms worn out and dusty, it really looks good and realistic. Ofc there has been some changes in the story, you can see that from the names of the characters (some have been changed, some added) and some of the weapons used in the film.

BUT, to make you feel better, after the first movie is released on the 1st of August (yes, the first movie) the second one comes right after in SEPTEMBER.

I know, right! Must love Japan.

                                                                                                            there. Hope you enjoyed that.
                                                                                                            now go watch stuff ^.^

                                                                                                                                      your 光
