Minna-sama,
it's your Hikari (光)
bringing you the news on the most ungrateful topic to google in English:
Fudanjuku.
Many
things happened and I promised you to keep you up to date on this amazing group,
so don't you guys worry I'm here keeping my promise
look at that Uramasa waving...he's the cutest
Can
I just say how dislikeful I am towards Techiku entertainment (Fudanjuku's
agency)? I mean it's not like I think it's a bad company or anything like that and
the fact they removed my video from youtube tho I did not claim their rights
has nothing to do with my feelings towards them, but I must say they are
NOT helping Fudanjuku becoming more popular with such attitude. I can tell it's
one of the first (and therefore most traditional) entertainment companies in
Japan since it's quite Japan-only oriented (meaning they don't think about non-japanese
fans AT ALL). And about protecting
their copyright? wooah I spent like 2 hours finding Fudanjuku's songs online to
dowload, bro. 2 freaking hours (but I found it, I always find it BUahHAHAHahahahHAHAHaaaAA)
I
mean this company should relax...
Money is coming, Teichiku. Money is
coming.
So, because of the fact Fudanjuku's
being under such agency, I shall sum up all the recent stuff on them, since I
presume you are not Japanese (if you are tho いらっしゃいませ!) , so I hope this post
pops up quite soon on your search engine to save you the trouble :)
BE HERO - Momotarou's graduation
Since
I wrote the last time changes have been made in the group; as you probably
know, our megane leader Momotarou left the group with the „BE HERO“ as his last
single. You're probably asking yourselves how and why in the name of god did
this happen.
*sighs*
Yes
someone should smack him across his glasses especially because he has no particular reason for leaving, but he indeed did made a video where he sat in front
of the camera saying shit like the reason for his graduation is because he has
performed within the unit for five years now and has just turned 30 years old. well bro seriously nobody minds that He also said that “I also have a dream to
challenge things on my own. This doesn’t mean that I’m going to retire from
show business, so please continue to watch over me”.
Idiot.
it's Momo in the middle. .....yes, I know. and he's(she's) graduating for being 30 -.-''
Let
me just comment on this bullshit. I don't doubt that Momo agreed himself on
this decision, but let's face it- it's more likely that he got the push from the agency to graduate. Don't
get me wrong it's not something that is characteristic for Teichiku
entertaintment, it's like that in any talent agency in Japan. It's because in
Japan young is pretty, young is sexy, young is attractive. The golden years of
Japanese idol careers are not their 20s or 30s like in the West, but the period
when they are 12 to 20-something. It's just like that; different sides of the
world have different preferences. Of course, it doesn't mean your career is
over when you are not 17 anymore, it's just that you need to finish your idol career and from that point on build
up your career as an artist.
So,
I don't believe this decision of Momo's was made (only) be himself. It's like
Morning Musume girls; they all graduated when they were around 20-something
years old and they all cried as hell having those graduating concerts, so
nobody can tell me they just decided to left on their own.
shitty resolution screen shot from his announcement
Momotarou's graduation was marked by beautiful new single „BE HERO“ realised on 24th
September 2014....as you probably know.
BE HERO
And
then of course Fudanjuku went short on members...
New
Fudanjuku member KARIYASE LIGHT
So,
the new member is Kariyase Light, who, I must say, gave himself terribly
unnatural name. Kariyase Light’s real name is Shimokariya Kanae. She is 21 years
old and from Osaka. He is replacing Bukiya Momotaro (I'm not sure if he's
replacing him as a leader too, but hope not since he's the new one).
I'm
totally calling him "Kariyase"
NO Japanese is named freaking 'Light'
what did you, came out of
Death Note!?
Interesting
thing about him is that Shimokariya Kanae was working until now as a girl
talent for K Dash Stage which is the same agency as Fudanjuku (so, he wasn't passing any audition and stuff, but had some experience as an idol, I guess that's why they choose her).
Now, she is terribly cute, her face is soft-edged and she is also quite feminine in the body, but she does have a talent in acting like a guy, I must admit that.
Light debuted as a group member in the single "SHUNKAN TORAI FUTURE", which was pretty bombastic I must say. It was made to present a 'new beginning' for a group. I really like this one. I must say, Fudanjuku's songs are just getting better and better and you'll see what I mean by that when I tell you about the latest single they'll release this September.
Meanwhile they had a number of lives and it looked like this:

FUDANJUKU
- Moshimo kore ga koi nara
Fudanjuku
has prepared 15th single for us, named „Moshimo kore ga koi nara“, in
translation 'if this is love', and the MV has already been uploaded on Youtube. If you still haven't seen it WATCH IT. It's quite something.
I downloaded that shit right away
In this song Fudanjuku really brings something new. This MV tells a story and there is no classical close-up shots in it or dancing. In this video Fudanjuku is passing though the woods and chasing a mysterious girl in white. .......until they catch her.
The whole story seems blurry and everything moves slowly; the shots are made unsharpened and unfocused to create the feeling of a dream... and on the top of it there's a girl in white that dances thought the forest. I don't even have to say that the song is really beautiful.... pretty much everything about this single is heavenish.
I also like that the girl has a short hair. I mean, they didn't take a girl with a typically long hair to create the feeling of her having the female role or to stress out she's being feminine or that Fudanjuku members are being manly.
and omg I love Koji's hair in this
"Moshimo kore ga koi nara" will be realised on 30th Steptember, but who's got time to wait you can download your mp3 here.
Hope you guys enjoyed that,
come and read my shit again, I really appreciate it.
your
HIKARI
:) EXTRA ANNOUNCEMENT well guys, Fudanjuku just posted on their official Ameba blog site they are looking for a new member: you can read it here if you speak any Japanese or just use google translate skillfully ;) So I guess Kariyase (I told you I ain't callin' him LIGHT) is not the final member for the new beginning and line up. well, well you can surely expect me to write again regarding this matter (a.k.a. make a bunch of comments and critics on new dude when he comes BUahHAHAhaAha) just kidding....or not.
For all you lovely people out here who have been left in a complete agony for half of the summer because all of the new seasons won't air until October, I FEEL YOU.
Oh, yes, yes there is such thing as summer season, but if you did check the charts...summer season anime is not the hottest one this year: klick it, klick it here and make sure I'm right. yes, ok you'll find a few average anime to watch if you're not too picky anime-viewer, but meh. Give people some hot stuff, I'm talking about K project, Shingeki no kyojin, Owari no seraph, Noragami, Haikyuu!!...!
So, to make you everyone a bit less sad about it, here's the list I made for you followed by my strict quality review of the anime that will air in October as well as some anime that was quite hot recently.
Tokyo ghoul
Now, before everyone goes crazy about what I'm about to say about this anime I'll just mention manga story defers a bit form anime, so if you like this type of story - go read that shit, the manga style is great.
Second season of Tokyo ghoul aired in January 2015, so the 3rd season is just about to be confirmed. So, you minna crazy about ghouls I can tell you all it is likely that season 3 will be aired in the summer 2015 (it is not still known when exactly, but it's popular as hell which is why it's been announced it's coming quite soon!)
My personal review on Tokyo ghoul (which I've seen quite recently): this anime's quality is not justifying it's popularity. Story is great, heartbreaking, charters are well portrayed and many, but there are 2 main points that makes this anime quite lousy:
1st one: unnatural point scenes - in Tokyo ghoul you have
many brutal scenes (because it's story about ghouls who feed on humans, duhh)
story makes progress through action scenes (it's where something new happens
that will affect whole anime story, which is why it's called point scene).
Those scenes are suppose to make a development in a story, but in Tokyo
ghoul such scenes are giving you the
feeling they are artificial. It's like such moments are not the natural flow of
the story. What I'm trying to say here is that anime creators used point scenes
to make drama and to show some blood and pain decreasing the quality of the
story itself (they probably did that because of the budget and the fact that
you have to put quite a lot of a story in just dozen 20-min episodes *shrugs*)
2nd one: the character of Kaneki Ken - The character of
Kaneki Ken is just being butchered (I said character, although yes you can say
Kaneki was butchered literally too - but that is suppose to be like that I
guess). He is suppose to have strong will, although he's a wuss (that's the
point of the famous line if you were to write a story with me in the lead role
it would certainly be... a tragedy) , but then he's being tortured and turns
into something completely different...then he becomes Kaneki again...then he
can't return to be Kaneki, so he becomes Sasaki Haise -.- I mean, the character
of Touka, for example, is consistent, because you get to know her and you know
how she would react, what's important to her etc. but with Kaneki, who is also
a LEAD character, he's a bit like this, a bit like that on a too extreme scale.
and that's probably not just in anime. Kaneki is too messy of a personality, as
if the author was indecisive what kind of character he wants Kaneki to be,
making him colourless and nonconsistent (and that has NOTHING to do with the
horrors that's happening to him! ofc such things will change a person but it
can't make someone a NEW person (something to such extend just kills), it can heavily
traumatise someone and deform a personality, but that's as far as it goes (even in anime). In my opinion, that
is the lack of a point in story. That happens when people write a story for the
flow of the story and not for the point to make. ...........huh, this was long
comment. ^^
ok, let's go to the less grim stories :)
K project
This splendid anime I also watched recently absolutely blew my mind away. I must say, yes you watch this anime constantly wondering and not knowing stuff, but that's also the quality of not just the story itself, but also its deep meaning (and you guys know I watch only deep shit with artistic value). The story is, in a way, told from a perspective of Isana Yashiro, the main character (he's not the narrator tho, don't think that), who is genuinely good (but he nor a viewer is sure in that until the end of a story). There are also many other characters who quite resemble the real world - they are all good, but in a conflict.
It's amazing how this anime gives a deep point about peace and power told through the metaphore of fantastic elements of futuristic technology and magical power, but so applicable on the real world.
If you haven't seen this very intelligent anime WATCH IT and if you did - watch it again, because the 2nd season comes in October and Anna is the new red king. (woops, spoiler alert :P)
Owari no seraph
One of the rare anime I've been waiting for each week to see a new episode, but in a way has a same quality problem as Tokyo ghoul (however not that bad as Tokyo ghoul). Story is a bit lousy in a quality of telling it, but it's not as much fastened as Tokyo ghoul which makes it enough interesting to make you wanna know gosh what happens next?
It is a touching family story and a main character is a bit of an idiot, which also makes you wanna sit, watch it and comment That damn Yuu! Why can't he just do what Mika says!? a beautiful piece of heaven wants to run away with you WHAT'S THERE TO THINK
but, yea :)
If you haven't seen it yet, it's quite interesting and you have a whole summer until they release 2nd season in October. ike!
Noragami
Noragami is by all means quality anime: it has a leading point, interesting discoveries, supernatural elements, beautiful art, touching sadness in a story and a genuine japanese humor to blow you completely away! And unlike many others, this anime goes by a good pace not ruining the story, fast enough to keep you interested and excited all the time.
I also read the manga (it's GREAT, read it, read it, read it!)
This is one of my fav top 3 anime, so you know watching this you'll regret nothing. Its second season will be released in October and I simply can't wait! :D
Shingeki no kyojin
I'm not even sure how much time passed since we got anything from attack on titan (I think it's been two years or so?), but now I can finally say THE MOVIE IS OUT.
Actually, it's coming on the 1st August and since we've been waiting for eternity, a month of waiting is as good as now :D
The cast is great, it's all famous Japanese actors. Eren is played by Miura Haruma and Ishihara Satomi will be playing Hanji Zoe (she is like born to play that character!!)
Now, I cannot tell you if the quality of this movie is at the level, but the trailer is absolutely terrifying and I also must say I love how they made uniforms worn out and dusty, it really looks good and realistic. Ofc there has been some changes in the story, you can see that from the names of the characters (some have been changed, some added) and some of the weapons used in the film.
BUT, to make you feel better, after the first movie is released on the 1st of August (yes, the first movie) the second one comes right after in SEPTEMBER.
I'd like to touch a very obvious topic in terms of asianophils, that nobody really speaks about, but it's there and it became annoying not to talk about it. It's why you love Japan, but you're kinda into Korea.
Now, all of us asianophils, no matter if we are into Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam or any other nation across the see and the continent, we all kinda consider our own preferences a private thing. Here is not the case like in the fandoms of the West, where you have people who love, but also hate (e.g. you have people crazy over Justin Bieber and people who are absolutely crazy over hating him). People who are into Asia, don't usually hate. That is partially because we learned from asian cultures to cherish others, but it's also because we get super excited seeing someone loving something asian, even if it's not from the actual country WE like. it's Asia!
I'll give myself a freedom to say that Japan is the leader of the asian culture. Not because I think it's the best of anything like that, but because it's most genuine.
In the last few years Korea became a huuuuuge thing in the West and suddenly you have masses of people obsessed with Kpop and agencies like SM or YG. And I get your point my friends, they are cool, have BEAUTIFUL voices, such a nice people and very talented as well. Doing a great job, really. That is not the reason why you like them, though.
The reason Japan became so popular is anime. People really like anime. It's really super addictive and once you get to like it you get hooked up by the japanesse culture as well and BAM! suddenly you are a japhanophil. And while Japan spreads likeness for it globaly by something genuinely created within its culture, Korea did it differently.
The reason Korea did it differently is also the reason why people from the West get to like it and why Kpop became so popular.
Since both Kpop and Jpop come from Asia they're often confused. Yes, they both came from similar roots, but Kpop is heavily influenced by western music. One of the biggest differences is that Kpop often presents less 'adorable' partrayal of their members (they tend to be more sexy, serious, adult, while Japan is all about young and sweet (kawaii)). And also the biggest thing is that Kpop attempts to market itself to other countries and cultures.
There you go - such a typical asian mistake trying to be/copy the West.
This ambitious way of making Kpop viral worldwide created stuff like this:
I won't even talk about how the daily life of a Kpop idol looks like, under what kind of monstrous contracts are they forced to work, about how they collapse, faint from practicing too much and so on and so on. You can all find it online. It pains me to even imagine what those young people go through, so the west (and others) can see them shining in the best western-style shinning clothes, to become viral, when I know what they go though. And all they had in mind in the first place was music and love for a job of an idol they never thought would look like that.
To give you an example of their daily horror:
Now, I like Kpop myself and wouldn't like you to think I want to say Kpop is no good. My point in all of this is to say that, yes, Kpop is really nice to hear and see, but the reason it became so popular is not primarily because K-idols are so talented and hardworking, but because they and their work is forced into a package of a western design and it's that that makes you like it.
I personally like it, but don't and won't support it.
Japan is different in terms of idols. In Japan you are cherished as a young person (so they won't take you if you're old and you also have to leave when you became old), but japanese agencies will never threat you like korean do. Producer of one of the biggest female japanese idol agencies called Hello!Project once said that what makes an idol is their mistakes and the time through they get better and improve and that is what fans wants to see. He also said he always chooses girls who have the will and spirit even if they can't sing or dance well.
I hope the point is taken.
Hello!Project's Ishida Ayumi (16) from MV 'One Two Three'
Hello everyone, as promised I bring you more stuff on Fudanjuku. There'll be a lot of stuff IN DETAIL I found out after doing some 'investigation' :'D; from the meaning of the group's title to the personalities of each member, so you might wanna stick around :)
First of all, I'm not that good in Japanese as I would like to be, so I cannot tell you more than I could dug out and more then I myself would also like to know, but hope you appreciate what I have for you here anyway :)
Meaning behind Fudanjuku
It all starts with Nakano Fujoshi sisters, which is actually all of Fudanjuku members before they decided to become a male group.
In translation for Nakano Fujoshi sisters the most important word is fujoshi which is a term used in Japanese meaning ''female otaku'' (literally a "rotten girl") and in Japan it is often used as a negative term (because after all, otaku was originally a negative term, but you know...Internet :D)
Nakano Fujoshi sisters then decided to make an alter-ego group thank god they did and name it Fudanjuku (=literally "cram school for rotten boys") > comes from fudanshi (=rotten boy) and juku (=school).
You can find online that people often refer to them as NFS since both Nakano fujoshi sisters and Fudanjuku (which is basically the same group) belong to Nakano paradise A.K.A. the great neardy heaven.
Basically, what they did is took a negative term like fujoshi(rotten girl) and fudanshi(rotten boy) and use it to describe themselves proudly, so what you basically need to know, and you will soon find out bellow, is that Fudanjuku is a BUNCH OF HUGE GEEKS. :D
Nakano Fujoshi sisters are not disbanded, however they are under some sort of permanent hiyatus meaning they do perform time to time, but they decided to make Fudanjuku dominant group and focus all their activities on Fudanjuku.
Fudanjuku logo, moto and adiction to portmanteau(s)
The proof that Fudanjuku surely is a group of geeks is probably the fact that they are making portmanteaus out of pretty much anything and by all means their most famous one is chenmen.
Now, before I start speaking of chenmen I cannot emphisise enough how adorably geeky can they be.
Here're some proof:
1___ You know how all geeks have this great passion for imaginative world, well Fudanjuku is pretty much the same: Whole of their professional work is based on "imaginative facts" for example, "officially" there is a fictional Nakano Fudanshi Academy (with obviously just 7 students -^.^-) under which name they also hold concerts. 2___Next thing is their motto: One fu all all fu one (typed on their logo) which is fudanjuku version of "One for all all for one", but they just have to use everything in fu-ish form, even my folder of their music is called Fu music ^o^ 3___The word CHENMEN. It's a word that is used pretty much anywhere related to Fudanjuku. It's portmenteau of "change" and "man" and basically stands for change into a man, however it is a NOUN, so chenmen is cosidered a new 'type of gender' (but not really), so to speak. They are men, but men who were changed into a men.
Just for the safety, chenmen is a protected word (and by 'protected' I mean by YES copyright!!) and you can find them use it in various songs like Chenmen paradise and Dasou Revolution :)
Ow, and just to support proof number 1 here, I came across an older video (promotion of KAZEIKKI) where Fudanjuku were introducing us to 2 (back then) new members. At that moment Nakano fujoshi sisters also got 2 new members (just a female version of them ofc), but the way they were talking about them...as if they are REALLY someone they didn't know, speaks of the level of their geekness :D...you better see for yourself ^.^;
ow and the KAMEHAMEHA greeting they always do at the begining....do I need to speak of geekness any more than that? :')
Official fudanjuku flag and logo is a small origami windmill around which you can read their moto one fu all all fu one. Then goes space peace and Fudanjuku written in kanji.
Fudanjuku members
Like most of the groups in Japan, Fudanjuku is also color-marked. I took official pics from fudanjuku official site, so behind every member there is his color. Outfits are from the newest album cover.
Akazono Kojiro, color red is 24 years old, in Fudanjuku he's 17 (what people call ''cannon age''). Koji is definitely the face of Fudanjuku; if someone is front - it's Kojiro, if there is ultra-manly thing to do - there's Kojiro, if there's interview or any sort of talking - Kojiro, Kojiro, KOJIRO! :DD It is said that he has the best vocals out of everyone, and that he's probably the most handsome in terms of looks. Not exactly the reason why he's my fav member, but it'll do. :))) Koji is extremely appealing and fun to watch. You can see that he has passion for this group, as well as a great amount of attitude which translates so well in the PV's. Koji attracts me the most because of his confidence and, above all, his casual and spontanious nature. He is with Momotaro the first line original Fudanjuku member since 2008.
With his reputation of a "flirt-boy and narcissist" I bring you little something I found online that made me laugh: YOSUKE: And Koji, stop fixing your hair! >:| MEMBERS: He's not even here... URAMASA: Oh yeah, I saw him in town a while ago. YOSUKE: Picking up girls again! URAMASA: No, he was handing out packs of tissues. KYOHEI: Actually, I heard he got special permission to work part-time
Seto Kouki, color yellow, is 21, in Fudanjuku 17. Kouki is, in my opinion, top 3 of the Fudanjuku members and beside Koji it's the awesome duo - I love those two! It's hard to believe that Kouki is a girl. He has balls, damnit! I'm actually surprised that he was one of the newer members, mostly because of how polished and professional he is within the group. Kouki seems to really love being a part of Fudanjuku (all of them do) and it really shows in the videos. He is enthusiastic, and such a joy to watch.
Although, I might say he seems gentile, he surely has a thing for acting as guy!
Aiba Kesui, color light blue, is 24 and he joined Fudanjuku in 2011 (so he is one of 2 new memebers - don't have such a feeling tho).Aiba looks very feminine, which is why I find it hard to see her as a guy, however everthing else he does is really guy-ish. I don't know where to start- from his very male singing to cool poses, the way he walks, moves, even the way he looks at camera... simply BRILLIANT! I also have to say I'm fascinated by the range of his voice, when it comes to screaming - wow, Aiba!!
Aaaand here's the little devil - Bukiya Momotarou, color pink is freaking 28 and you wouldn't tell!! He is also the leader. As a member, Momotarou is probably the one who loves the group the most. He is a very dedicated member, one who
puts everyone else first before himself. The song that he wrote during
the lyrics senbatsu (the producer gave melodies and members were suppose to write the songs and the best one by the fans votes will go to the album, and Momo's song won :D), Fu Ranger (see the fu- thing again? xD), was written with the group in
mind, whilst the other members wrote more so about themselves or
something that related to them. However, do have in mind he TALKS alot. He also has qute rough voice while talkin and I like that very much!
Midorikawa Kyohei, color green is also 28 (I know right!) He has this very striking cool image; his very handsome boys features, such as
his cheekbones, however I think you'll mostly remember him by his rough singing voice- gorgeous, husky voice!! I find Kyouhei very
appealing as a member, and time to time strongly but positivly cold (you know, the type of guy that is cold and serious, but mostly just because he's just being insanely cool).
Seimyoji Uramasa, color dark blue is 28 (ain't shocked anymore huh xD). Now, we're spaking of Fudanjuku here, so there is a story that covers each member (I'll share it with you at the end of the post) and Uramasa is the one that tries to create the tough-guy image (not that successfuly in my opinion), I find him rather cute *shrugs*. He does surprise me with his awesome guyish acting (like in Dansou revolution) and I cannot find a girl in him at all which is a major BRAVO with that cutie face of his :))
Yukimura Ryoma, color gray is the youngest member of Fudanjuku (he's 20) and he fits well to that image. After Renji, who recently left the group, I find him most manly (I know I know, he has a cute voice and sweet face, but just look like a guy to me. Probably beause I'm used to the japanese-kawaii style guys). He seems like a very shy and innocent boy, something which is very
befitting of the youngest member of the group. Out of everyone, I do
think that Ryouma has a certain air of freshness. He entered the group in 2011 with Kazeikki single.
Fudanjuku image
Now, as promised I said there are stories connected to each of the members and yes those are fictional stories that are made up to create certain feeling for the fans of what kind of image each member has. In my opinion, it's mostly what kind of image of each Fudanjuku member they wish to create among fans (it IS created on REAL LIFE interests of the members, so don't disregard it as a complete fiction!).
They are geekish, so all of it kinda fits into the complete image of Fudanjuku, so I don't mind. Here you go:
Momotarou: Bukiya Momotarou is an original member of Fudanjuku, and the leader
since 2011 when fellow member Shijuuin Yousuke graduated. Momo enjoys
anime more than he does studying, and so he joined Fudanjuku without his
parents' knowledge. He is a little scatterbrained, and he hates
violence. It is his dream to one day open a used-book store.
Uramasa: Uramasa is, in short, a tough guy. An original member of Fudanjuku since
2008, Uramasa is a competitive, aggressive and driven young man who
seems to be very determined to do what he can to toughen up. His main
hobby is weight-training, and he prefers to fight rather than talk. He
has remodeled his back yard and used that to train himself, and made his
pro-wrestling debut in 2009, showing that his determination has worked
and lead him to something that he loves. He seems to bump heads with
Renji a lot, considering they are both hot-headed.
Kyohei: Kyouhei is an original Fudanjuku member, and officially debuted with the
group in 2008. A hobby of his is visiting Kaitenzushi restuarants/sushi
bars, and has a very cool image about him which rarely seems to falter.
He loves animals, especially reptiles, and has a pet chameleon named
Ginji, and hopes to one day own a pet snake. Because of his cool
personality, he seems to be a bit of Tsundere in personality, but is
actually very caring towards the members (more so Uramasa, it seems) and
also very sincere. Apparently, he also really loves ramen.
Kojiro: Kojirou has been a member of Fudanjuku since September
2008, making him a member of the original Fudanjuku line-up alongside
Momotarou. He moved from Hokkaido to Tokyo during his first year of high
school, and is seen as a flirt when really, he is very serious and a
devoted hard worker. Koji's family is actually very poor, so he works
part-time to provide for his younger brother and sister. Apparently he
is also a bit of a narcissist.
Koki:Kouki joined Fudanjuku in 2010, convinced that the group was actually a
secret society, and is a lover of Mystery and the Paranormal. In
Fudanjuku, Kouki is a lead singer with a strong voice, and is also the
third member to inherit the colour yellow since joining Fudanjuku, with
the first being Zan Kisaragi and then Kanbee. During his early days in
the group, it seems that Kouki was bullied by the members, though Renji
seems to have a soft spot for him.
Aiba: Kensui joined Fudanjuku in December 2011, debuting in 2012 with the song Kaze Ikki alongside
fellow member Ryouma. He joined due to being impressed by the rumours
he had heard about Fudanjuku's activities. After joining, he has become a
front member and has great vocals. As one of the newer members, there
really is not much information about him on the web. As Kensui, in an
interview it has been suggested that he likes Aihon and may go out with
her (which is funny xD). Kensui likes to make jokes and have fun and
enjoys doing things which make others smile.
Ryoma:Ryouma is currently the youngest member of Fudanjuku, and joined in December 2011 before debuting officially with the group in Kaze Ikki in
early 2012. Ryouma joined the group under the belief that he will find
the dream that he has been looking for. From first glance, Ryouma seems
like a quiet and shy boy, however he is very passionate on the inside.
Out of all the members, he looks the girliest and has a little sister
image. Ryouma is described as cheerful and energetic, though his
innocent and shy look doesn't show it. He tries his best in everything
that he does. It has been noted that his voice hasn't changed yet.
You can also see what they say themselves in this inteview, that also has part 2 as well so check it out here. And since Renji was really popular and cool member that left recently, check what he wrote to us here just before he graduated.
Fudanjuku's negative spot >_<
You wouldn't expect from such a huge Fudanjuku fan as myself to be talking about their 'negative' side. I tend to be objective and I will say 99% things about Fudanjuku is positive. I cannot even find a song that is not that good or alike, but I do mind just ONE thing.
You might notice that nowhere in this post is a pic of members as girls. Well, there is a saying what has been seen cannot be unseen (I know, I'm such an otaku spreading 4chan/ /b/ shit around xD). Fudanjuku's negative spot is actually Nakano fudanshi sisters, in my opinion ofc. By that, I don't mean they shouldn't EVER EVER preform as girls, but it kinda damages their image of GUYS. When I see any of their faces with nice long hair, wearing heals and cute dress it just flashes me when I see them as guys. And I like their image as guys better (as they do as well, since they gave up on being girl group, ne?). So what happens to me is that I have to avoid looking at their female pics when googling. It seems other fu-fans don't have this problem *shrugs*.
I'm happy Fudanjuku is so open with being a group of female guys and this chenmen concept is the best thing you can generally find in idoling service! :D As they say themselfes, since they are girls they DO know what girls like and want and they are giving it to us~~~
the end.....*sighs*
I made a subtitled version of Chenmen paradise so check it out too!
光 here and today I have so many cool things to tell you I don't know even where to start!! :D
I was tumblin' the other day when I came across rather quite unique pics. It was a male idol group in some Japanese music tv show. They were answering the question why they dress like boys and the boy who answered, later I found out he's name was Momotaro, said something like: "we started as girls, but then we realized no girl group was performing as boys." (now, is that a reason to be a proffesional cross-dressed idol group that takes career seriously or WHAT!? :D)
I immediately thought - holly shit that's some super-cool-weird-japanish stuff, I haveto find out more about them!
two days later >BAM!!< here I am, your 光-chan fangirling over bunch of girls dressed up as boys and they seriously do fire up the stage!~~ ow yeeea
so, voila~ meet the object of your new obsession:
FUDANJUKU
Now, at the begining let me introduce you to your new favorite boy group:
Fudanjuku (風男塾) is a Japanese pop group under Teichiku Entertainment Inc.. The group is formed by females, and it serves as the male alter-ego of the Nakano Fujo Sisters. They changed the official spelling of their name from 腐男塾 to 風男塾 in 2011 with the graduation of Shijuuin Yosuke.

group under Teichiku Entertainment Inc..
Group has 8 members and they work under Teichiku Ent. inc. and in Japan you spell the group's name like this: 風男塾 (you might want to remember this kanji since they are mostly still producing stuff for the national fandom, so all the stuff you google - better do it using Japanese).
Guys are incredebly cute, outgoing and since they are girls, quite relaxed behaving as guys.
Now, lucky for us foreign fans, Kawaii girl Japan has bunch of stuff about them, you can find many many interviews on youtube and at Tokyo hive as well, n they ALL HAVE SUBTITLES :D I know, right!? :))))
Most of the fans are girls ofc, and since you guys know I am terribly strict about music quality, you know I wouldn't be recommending this guys if their music wasn't seriously BADASS.
I'd be lying though if I'd say I didn't work my ass off tryng to download their music (but it was worth it). You can find most of the songs on youtube, but only if you search in Japanese. there are some pages like MyFreemp3 that have original songs, so try that too. Style is mostly pop, there is also rock, melodies are good and energetic and lyrics are simply touching and BEAUTIFUL
here is my first recommendation:
This song called Dansou revolution is one of my favs, it has beat, it has lyrics, it had melody and ofc you can tell these guys CAN SING. This MV also has a message, so watch it till the end and see what happens to the girl at the beginning ;)
Now, you might also want to meet the guys, so do search for interviews, I can just say my fav is Kojiro (oh, he just can't stop talking, and he's really good looking - dude has a style), You want to see Kouki too (I can see a bit of KAT-TUN's Kame in him, don't u think too? ;) ) and Momotaro who HAS to comment on everything xD --- I can tell you'll enjoy their personalities. Since there is no much pics on the Internet where u can relate faces and names I made one for you :):
I will be writing much more about these guys in the future as well, for now I just wanted to introduce this awesome guys and their beautiful songs to you.
Since it's the speed of light when it comes to me and digging up awesome Japanese songs xD I'll represent you the most beautiful song you will probably hear in a while. It's called Mugen no Procyon (the live of it is the vid above) and you can find it online only under the name 夢幻のプロキオン(in translation Dream of a Procyon). I worked my ass off trying to find out what the heck is PUROKION, and finally I found out it's a star (if you knew about it, please let me know in the comments, because I didn't and it is quite commonly used, so I'm kinda researching weather it's the star only Asia is well familiar with or am I just stupid ^.^;) I was sooooo enchanted by this song that I made translation of it (first one on the internet yey :D) so enjoy it, cause, yes, it was hard.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION
The Procyon of far beyond (it) is a transmission from the old days
The light of a dream come true shines through the winter sky
Fairytale
from my childhood says
If
you grasp that star your wish will come true
Everybody
wanted a devilish light
In
order to get it you need wings
Gods, please tell me, although I
shouldn’t be doing it
I will grow a wings of love, courage and hope, right?
The Procyon of far beyond (it) is a transmission from the
old days
The
light of a dream come true is the first light on the night sky.
Hundreds of
millions of stars torn disappear within a dream.
And today also,
Procyon mysteriously shines
I grew wings and I wasn’t
flightless
but in
the heart I questioned if it was a lie
Procyon please come true, if tears
became stars
This light would become a crystal of my
wish, right?
God created Procyon, it is a lead to the future
It is the passionate light that shows first in
the night sky
Since before
hundreds of millions of years love is sought,
is also why today
Procyon stares sadly
(Eyes) Close your eyes
(Eyes) If you look at the dream put out your flattering wings
(Fly to future) Wipe your tears
(Fly to future) Embrace the dream
Seize! The star no one held
Shooting star! Shooting star that pierces heaven
Since hundreds of millions years ago person was determined to
Procyon,
this world that is about to change still fadelessly shine
The Procyon of far beyond (it) is a transmission from the
old days
The light of a dream come true is the first light on the night sky.
Hundreds of millions of stars torn disappear within a dream.
And today also,
Procyon mysteriously shines.

HEY HEY HEY
the latest news guys!
I love this guys sooo much that I did a subbed version of Chenmen paradise. I hope Teichiku ent. won't block it or anything, they did send me someting about blocking, but I wrote I DON'T OWN ANYTHING and stuff like that, what more can I do? right!? I wished if they had more understanding for us fans across the globe who need subs. It's all I did: made subs. that's all.
so, here you are, enjoy it. It took me couple of hours so I reeeealy hope they won't remove my vid or block the sound or smth. *sigh*
If you can't see it, go to youtube by this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivD8WVYTXqg :)
